About Us

We are Jordaan residents and have happily lived in Amsterdam for 15 years. We love our city and especially our beautiful, vibrant neighborhood. But the increasing nuisance caused by cut-open garbage bags and litter finally became too much for us.

That's why we started Geen Blikjes Label – a simple neighborhood initiative to keep our streets cleaner. We're not running this for profit, purely to cover our costs and hopefully make a positive contribution to the neighborhood.
